Hellsing is the Manga the anime is bases off of. The Hellsing Organization is a secret organization that is aimed at the eradication of vampires and other monsters. The Organization was started by Van Helsing and now Integra Hellsing Runs it. With them they have the ultamite weapon against vampires, Alcucard, a vampire himself. He is set off on a mission to destroy a vampire in a small town and in the middle is a young police woman. All of her comarades have been turn into ghouls and she is the only living person areound. In order to destroy the vampire holding her Alcuard shoots through her and kolls the vampire. He then turns her into a vampire to save her life and is now part of the hellsing organization. Now with the threat of growing artificial vampires (created by the freak chip placed behind the ear) growing they have a problem that must be faced.
